Update

I'll be brief.   

Week one is over.  I'm a bit proud of myself because I did really well.  What I thought was going to be hard to go without (wine) was easy.  I thought going without wheat products (you know, bread, crackers, pasta and all that good stuff) would be hard, and it was.  Coffee was surprisingly easy after a few days, and now I don't miss it in the slightest.  I was grouchy and tired the first couple of days and I was (and still am) hungry all the time.  But now I feel good. Energized.  Like I am running on premium fuel instead of regular.  Tomorrow I am allowed to allow dairy and wheat back in moderately.  I am going to remain off the sugar (easy peasy), caffeine and alcohol.  I am thinking about what I will treat myself to tomorrow.
