A Time to Bloom

For the gardener, there is a certain feeling of excitement and anticipation at the sight of a bud readying itself to bloom.  It is a flower becoming.  A metamorphosis - seemingly overnight.  The timing and quality of the bloom is dependent on many things..light, temperature, and nourishment.  Once it has bloomed and lived it's short life in the sun it starts it's journey backward again.  Though it is a short but stunning display, it is an amazing  reminder of what something can become given the right circumstances.
