Farewell January

January is a long cold month.  I am not sorry to say goodbye.  Now I will allow myself to think of Spring planting and drinks on the deck.  I will let those thoughts warm me as we ride out the rest of the winter.

The garden on last summer

Yesterday was a cold day for a walk by the lake.  It is still beautiful though (as long as you are dressed properly).  Cameras are difficult with mittens but I managed a few shots.
