The Story of an Angel

Newly separated, a woman and her two young children move to a new neighbourhood.

By fortunate chance there are many women of similar age, and some of similar circumstance on the street.  The bonds of friendships - long lasting ones - are formed. 

The children grow, circumstances change, there are moves, some close, some too far.

But the friendships last.

When the woman finds herself in need of a new job one of the friends knows of something.

The woman gets the job.

Years go by - as they do. 

With life serving its ups and downs. 

Its hardships and joys.

One evening a very close friend talks to the woman about another woman she has recently met.

A woman of healing, of sight, of faith, of love.

"You should go to see her", she says.  "Yes, I will" replies the woman.

And so, woman goes to see her several times and is deeply affected by the healing woman's faith.

Her unlimited love, her desire to help.

When the woman's employer is suffering the woman talks to her of the woman of healing.

She urges her to contact her for help.

The connection is made, the link complete.

And, perhaps, a life is changed -  is saved - by the healing woman.

By her healing hands, her spirit, her faith, her love, and her words.

This is how everything is connected.

This is how angels do their work.
