True North
The closest I have come to this in the last 9 months (maybe longer?) is the Starbucks coffee I had by the same name.
I miss the North - what I call North at least.. which is around 2 hours North of Toronto. I would go farther..if I could.
Deep clear lakes, granite rock cuts along the highways, majestic pines, clear air, starlit skies, Muskoka chairs on the dock (the armrests big enough to hold your drink), canoeing on a glass still waters, swimming when the water is warmer than the air.
The past few summers I have always managed to go somewhere with the kids. Cottaging or camping. This year seems like it won't happen.
Feeling homesick for the place I call my home town.
I am whining... just a little bit.
