Five Years

A divorce. A daughter almost finished University.  Basement renovation. A few more wrinkles. A son grown from a boy to a man.  A new job. Falling down and getting back up. Another move. New friends. Learning how to be alone.  Saying goodbye to our beloved dog.  Ailing father.  Learning to trust again. Becoming a yoga teacher.  Some of the saddest moments - and the happiest.  Old friends found. New car. 10 extra pounds. Finding faith. Planting a garden. Healing a broken heart. Growing long hair and then cutting it all off - again. Learning to laugh a little more.  Making a new life.

All this has happened since I saw my Mother last.  

A lifetime of changes in five years.
