Colour in the garden

It was a beautiful early spring day yesterday with the temperature making it feel more like summer. We took full advantage and (wearing shorts) spent the day working in the garden.  The garden beds were edged and topsoil added and spread.  Blue pots were removed from their winter home in the shed. They await warmer days for the annuals to be planted. The Muskoka chairs beckoned after a full days work as did 5 o'clock cocktails and gardening books.  Dinner was cooked only once the sun was gone.  

Today it is back to chill, long pants and sweatshirts.
