Sunday morning arrived with bad dreams that would not allow more sleep. Activity to distract and clear away the lingering dreams was required. I was happy to see the downy woodpecker* at the suet cage. I find baking to be therapeutic so I decided to make some muffins filled with good things. Setting out the ingredients, adding things to the bowl one by one and stirring I started to feel better, the dream slowly dissipating and allowing the present back in. Later, a walk in the freshly fallen snow cleared the last of it away. Balance restored.
