Millions and Millions and Millions of Trilliums

Nothing says spring in the forest quite like an abundance of Trilliums.   I haven't seen a display like this in a couple of years now and I was (to the annoyance of my walking companion, I am sure) snapping photos left and right.  No picture can quite capture the feeling of a beautiful Sunday in May, walking on a trail unknown to me and enjoying the sights and sounds of spring.  I was happy.
